Asset Finance Connect Professional Services Firm Award Winner

We were very pleased and proud to have been named as the AFC Professional Services Firm of the year 2023 at the Asset Finance Connect Summer Awards Dinner which was held on 12 July at the Hurlingham Club in Putney, London.

We entered the awards off the back of the work carried out to mobilise the Haydock Stock Finance audit service. In order to launch their unit stocking offering Haydock Finance assembled a team of industry experts with many years of experience in this sector. This team recognised that to successfully launch this product they needed to engage a market leading audit partner who could support them with not only carrying out audits at car dealerships, but also presenting the audit result within a system (SMART) that would enable them to analyse the results and provide a workflow system in support of their risk management profiling of their customer car dealerships.

Using the extensive experience of both teams, VAS were able to put together a bespoke audit solution to meet the exact requirements of Haydock Finance. The mobilisation process involved putting together a team of experts in the fields of risk, compliance, IT, sales and operations to work together in an agile way to deliver a robust audit process. Simon Bryant, who heads the Haydock Stock Finance team, supported our nomination for this award.
